Trainer Bio

We are Team O'Neill. We like to think that our racing stables aren't like any other racing team's on the planet. We have an open-door policy, a relentlessly positive atmosphere, and a record of success that, taken as a whole, sets us apart from the rest. We love what we do. We believe that horses, much like people, perform best when they are surrounded by positive, passionate teammates. Not to be mistaken for a lack of intensity, our positive approach is fueled by a love for the sport and a burning desire to win. Not just win, but to achieve true success - something that reaches beyond wins and losses - and delves into more meaningful concepts like changing the status quo and leaving a legacy. It is this emphasis on maintaining a positive attitude that keeps us focused and consistent in a world of extreme highs and lows.

While others may take a different approach - the brooding, stiff and bristly trainer is almost a stereotype at this point - we want to be something different. We put our whole selves into this sport - we wear our hearts on our sleeves and we do this without shame. We believe our attitude - our passion - combined with the collective knowledge and talent of a staff whose core has been together for a long time, keeps us producing winners from the legendary Lava Man, to new kids on the block like Goldencents.

Bottom line, horse racing is a beautiful sport. It is a world unto its own; a world that we are proud to be a part of - not just proud but grateful. There are no days off, there are early mornings, long days, heartbreaking disappointments and unimaginable joys. We love it all, and we want to share it with the world.

If you want proof, just stop by...you'll find us in the winner's circle laughing, hugging and looking forward to the next race.
