Carolyn Conley

Biography: 

Carolyn Conley is the jockey agent for Southern California-based riders Stewart Elliott and Laura Werner and has an extensive background in Thoroughbred racing television.

She worked as Host and Reporter for HRTV and HRTV.COM from 2006 to 2014. She also served as Director of Brand Management for the Network.

Conley, known for her conversational television style, also spent two years as the host of the morning show “Race Day America” on HRTV. She went on to host from the studio on a weekly basis, and report on location from as far away as Buenos Aires, Argentina and Santiago, Chile.

She wrote, produced, and narrated the documentary “The Lost Years,” for HRTV. This historical piece depicts the use of Santa Anita Park as a Japanese-American assembly center and an army ordnance training camp during World War II.

Conley also lent her voice to many of the features on the Emmy Award-winning HRTV program, “Inside Information.”  She was a key member of the 1999 Eclipse Award-winning Santa Anita Park Broadcast team.

She competed in Three-Day Eventing while growing up in Spokane Washington and also exercised racehorses for Hall of Fame trainers Charlie Whittingham, Bobby Frankel, D. Wayne Lukas and Richard Mandella.

Conley and her son Aidan live in the Los Angeles area.
