Owner Bio
I am a breeder, owner, and trainer who re-entered the sport in an active way in 2000 following my retirement from the computer industry after some 25 years of involvement in several senior management positions.
My experience in racing dates back over 50 years. My Dad had a breeding and racing operation back in that era based in Illinois. It included the first Nearco stallion in the area, Prince of India, and the winner of the Razorback Handicap and runner-up in the Oaklawn Handicap, Missouri Gent.
Of my foals aged 3 or older, 100% are starters, and 90% are maiden special winners or better. The most distinguished of these is the filly Enchanting Star, who was runner-up in the Frizette Stakes (G1), and who was assigned 111 pounds on the 2006 Experimental Free Handicap.
My training philosophy is similar to the Hippocratic Oath: Above all do no harm.
