Owner Bio

Born and raised in Queens New York. Moved to the Island in 1972. I've worked in sales and the hospitality industry since the age of 15 .I have 4 fabulous kids and 5 darling grandkids.I presently live in Saratoga Springs. I got my real estate license in 1996 and currently own my brokerage, LandQuest Real Estate Services. I specialize in rentals and buyer brokerage especially for the racetrack community- Saratoga Rental Central

My interested in horse racing started in 1975 when I moved to Elmont NY. Mostly all my friends at the time were involved in some way either working at the race track or going to the track to watch and bet the races. I started working myself at NYRA in 1983 as a Customer Service Hostess while Mafala Gargas and Cathy Marino were in charge.I worked there until 1996 when I moved to Saratoga Springs.

While living in Saratoga Springs, I befriended Louis Ferrara, a horse breeder with a nearby farm in Schuylerville. I would visit his farm often especially when the foals were born. One spring back in 2012 I met a young foal who I later purchased, Sister Charm by Langfur out of Mississippi Charn by Silver Charm. I started racing her as a 2 yr old in New York then as a 3 yr old she sustained a slab fracture in her right knee. Surgery and recovery followed and a year later in June of 2016 she started training then racing again under the skilled hands of former jockey, Robbie Davis. She still as yet has not broken her maiden. But I'm ever hopefull it will be someday real soon.
