Owner Bio
Lee and I have spent the last 10 years sharing a very strong love and passion for horse racing. Summers at Saratoga and small partnerships with friends got us into the owners box and purchasing our own horses. Now, we have settled and are strongly aligned with Michael Bray and Sharon Crute, we decided to take a leap, and make a go at this with a stable name and our own silks. Adding to our stable, we aligned with Bobby and Debbie Barnett to have Come What May Racing in the Midwest.
Why Come What May?
Come What May was our wedding song and it fits as our stable name. May was Lee's first visit to Churchill Downs, the month we bought into our first horse Eddie, who we now own and have recently retired. Michael and I share the 24th as a birthday, and emeralds are my favorite gem stone.
Being a brand new stable as of 2021, we have spent the last 2 years educating ourselves about the ownership side of horse racing, we know that we want to keep it small and make sure that our equine athletes get the best care and best racing career. Our plans extend to their retirement, as well as their daily life.
Now we have the runners and a dream that we can bring to others like us.
