44 years old San Diego native and lifelong athlete.
Attended Del Mar Santa Anita and Hollywood Park with grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles starting at 4-5 years old.
I love playing sports but the unique majesty of Thoroughbreds and racing became my overall favorite sport to watch, and that stands to this day.
Once I had some disposable income and realized we were in the middle of the downfall of California racing (tragedy) I bought into a partnership group/syndicate at Del Mar, my home track.
In year 1, in 2024/25, one of our horses Raging Torrent just blossomed during the Del Mar summer, beating the famous Chosen Vron. Then won the historical G1 Malibu at SA. Then went to Dubai and won the Godolphin Mile. I attended that trip! Wow. THEN went to NY on Belmont Stakes day and won the historical Met Mile vs Fierceness and others. Then he retired after a small injury.
Well that was my year 1. So here we go! Or as Trevor Denman would say Andah-waytheygo!
Looking forward to the longshot REVIVAL of CA racing.
