Owner Bio

Got married in 2000 and in 2001 we bought Thoroughbred filly from Arkansas sale. Her fist start was a Stakes race where she came in 2nd!! We loved it and claimed a filly from Oaklawn. We eventually used these 2 as Broodmares and bought a stallion A.P. Million who is by A.P. Indy out of Brink by Forty Niner. We are a small operation and had trained our own but very hard to do when you may only have 4 horses on the track. Hard to get riders etc for only 4 horses they like to work in bigger barns where they will get more money. We have since sent ours to a trainer in Sallisaw Oklahoma, Randy and Debbie Newenhouse where they are doing very good with them. We are enjoying the Oklahoma/Oaklawn circuit. We have become very involved in the Thoroughbred industry where Susan Watkins is on the Arkansas Thoroughbred Breeders and Horsemen's Association (ATBHA) Board and Vice President on the Oaklawn Racetrack Chaplaincy Board. Although we have not become millionaires we certainly LOVE the game!! We both retired from Law Enforcement where we can now do what we love as we own Royal Court Equine Center in Hot Springs Arkansas.
