Owner Bio

I have been an owner of thoroughbreds in NY since 2004. My first partnership was called Clear Stars Stable. We ran mostly NYBs at the claiming and allowance levels. We won a stake on NY Showcase day at Belmont with a horse name Zippy Shannon - a beautiful sprinter by City Zip. We had a graded stakes placed horse name That'srightofficer and currently have a colt name Wee Freudian who we claimed for $20,000 and has returned that almost ten-fold. We are a small group of close friends who are having the time of our lives.

I started a new syndicate named Team Clear Stars Stable. We have 17 partners. We've claimed two horses so far and purchased a beautiful 2YO at the Timonium 2YO-in-Training sale this year. We have high hopes for him.

I have run businesses of different sizes for years and I can tell you the best business decision I ever made was hiring Rick Schosberg as my trainer. A tremendous horseman and just a high integrity guy.
