
Amber O’Grady has 25 years experience in the sports marketing and events industry. While racing is her first love she has worked with many blue chip companies across a range of sports from racing to triathlon, boxing, motor bikes, rugby and cricket. Amber has worked extensively in the racing industry with companies such as Betfair, Tattersalls Ireland, The Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Association, Sandown Park and Fairyhouse Racecourse to name a few. In her current role Amber is Ownership Manager for Horse Racing Ireland (HRI), the governing body for horse racing in Ireland. She is responsible for developing the ownership strategy in line with HRI’s strategic development plan. Key to her role is owner retention and acquisition focusing on both the domestic and international market. Amber’s love of racing stems from her family, her father is a national hunt trainer in Ireland. She has been involved in racing and breeding all her life and has been lucky enough to race all around the world, experiencing racing in Hong Kong, Australia, America and throughout Europe. Amber has been involved in flat and national hunt ownership in Ireland and the UK and is presently a member of the All About the Girls Syndicate in Ireland.
