As the executive director of the Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit (HIWU), Ben Mosier oversees the development of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority’s Anti-Doping and Medication Control Program.
Mosier’s responsibilities have expanded since joining Drug Free Sport International (DFS) in 2010, including contributing to clients’ international sport drug testing interests and expansion, which combines two of his personal passions – travel and sport. His previous role as the vice president of business development for DFS focused on the cultivation of relationships with prospective clients and management of relationships with current clients throughout the global sports and wellness industries.
Mosier possesses a bachelor’s degree in sports and leisure management from the University of Missouri, Columbia. Prior to joining DFS, Mosier served as the national events coordinator / intern with the Kansas City Sports Commission and worked in operations and marketing for the University of Missouri’s Athletic Department.
