
Michelle Cuozzo Borisenok is a longtime entrepreneur and philanthropist. She is known throughout the Albany, New York, Capital Region for her steadfast support of women’s leadership. Her mission is to assist others by fostering independence and enhance their quality of life through education, mentorship, women’s leadership and the arts.
Michelle’s latest venture, Brown Road Racing, combines her love of equestrianism and passion for advocating women’s leadership by bringing women and families together to learn about racing and share in the camaraderie of horse-ownership partnerships. Currently, Brown Road Racing has a stable of 10 thoroughbred horses. Success in 2021 includes winning the historic Cicada with Just Read It, and the Saratoga winner’s circle with No Payne and Jordan’s Leo.
Since 2016, Michelle has also co-owned Old Tavern Farm, a boutique thoroughbred-breeding farm she co-founded with her husband. The couple meticulously restored this farm to its agrarian roots and oversee the breeding and sale of elite racing thoroughbreds.
Michelle’s board memberships include: Corporate board member, Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee Counties in Florida; Board member, Alzheimer & Parkinson Assn of Indian River County, Florida; Board member, Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs, NY and First Vice Chair at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY.
