Our concept was to build an equestrian training center, but not just any equestrian training center. This one would be the ultimate training center, complete with a 20,000-squarefoot small and large animal veterinary clinic; state-of-the art barns complete with offices and living quarters; spacious turnout paddocks; a 150x250-foot arena; a 6½ furlong training track Louisiana Racing Commission sanctioned for official workouts; a luxurious 70-stall rehab facility; and foaling and boarding facilities available to hundreds of horses. The full-service facility would be on a historic and picturesque 210-plus-acre property with rolling hills, walking trails, and lush, tree-lined pastureland. And it would be situated in an ideal location, central to all of the major racetracks in Louisiana.
We achieved this dream when we opened in September 2010 with outstanding success. Now in our third year, we are expanding into breeding with our latest addition, Songandaprayer and The Stallion Station @ Copper Crowne. Our goal is still simple, provide the utmost quality equestrian facility to meet the needs of racing horsemen, now from breeding through successful competition on the track.
